His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah Region, yesterday, Monday, at the emirates headquarters in Jeddah, received the newly appointed UQU President, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab.

In this regard, His Royal Highness congratulated the new UQU President on his appointment, underscoring the importance of upgrading the educational and academic environment in such a way that reflects positively on the outcomes, which will have a major impact on the advancement of the homeland.

On his part, the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab, noted that the directions of the Prince of Makkah Region will be a motivation, with the help of Allah, for developing the academic work.

Moreover, Prof. Aal Madh-hab provided a brief explanation of the university’s plan, which is consistent with the Saudi Vision 2030. He clarified that there will be a focus on investment in the knowledge economy, emanating from the scientific research system which result in patents that can be converted into tangible products, thereby contributing in serving society via the labor market.
