A Ceremony Honoring the Winners of the Contests Commemorating the 90th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah held a ceremony honoring the winners of the contests commemorating the 90th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The contests were organized by the College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, represented by the College Vice Deanship for Educational Affairs and the Engineering Voluntary Club in Al-Qunfudhah. The event was attended by His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Alawi bin Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman Bamahdi, and His Excellency the Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Naif bin Ibrahim Al-Harbi.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the President of the Engineering Voluntary Club in Al-Qunfudhah, Mr. Faisal Belqasem Al-Amshani, gave a simplified explanation of the contest mechanism, which contained three categories. The first category is "The Most Beautiful Message Expressing Patriotism", the second category is "The Most Beautiful Photo Expressing National Identity", and the third category is "The Best Short Video Expressing National Identity". The names of the winners in the three categories were announced, as follows: The first category winner is Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kadisi, the second category winner is Mr. Yahya Al-Zailai, and the third category winner is Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Zailai. The ceremony was held in a calm atmosphere, while following the health protocols to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Alawi Bamhdi, sent his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Nayef bin Ibrahim Al-Harbi, and the President of the Engineering Voluntary Club, Mr. Faisal Belqasem Al-Amshani, for the efforts made to raise the level of the university and community programs and activities of the College of Engineering.
