The Academic Council secretariat is pleased to announce to the academic members the approval of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University of their promotions included in the second session of the Academic Council for the academic year 1442 A.H. The secretariat members wish newly promoted teaching staff great success in the field of academic research, and supplicate Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to encompass them with His care and support, and enable them to achieve their ambitions and accomplish their goals.
Names of academic staff members and their promotions:
- Promotion of Dr. Abdul-Halim bin Salim Hamza Sairafi, Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology at the College of Medicine, to the position of professor.
- Promotion of Dr. Ahmad bin Hasan bin Yahia Lal Al-Hindi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science at the College of Computer and Information Systems, to the position of associate professor.
- Promotion of Dr. Ibrahim bin Musa bin Hasir Al-Sihli, Assistant Professor in the Department of Literature at the College of Arabic Language and Literature, to the position of associate professor.
- Promotion of Dr. Yasir bin Ayish Omar Al-Marwei, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at the College of Applied Sciences, to the position of associate professor.
- Promotion of Dr. Taha bin Muhammad Taha Al-Fawwal, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the College of Applied Sciences, to the position of associate professor.
- Promotion of Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Muhammad Baz, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Computer and Information Systems, to the position of associate professor.
- Promotion of Dr. Entisar bint Abdul-Aziz Monir Wahba Ibrahim, Assistant Professor in the Department of Language, Syntax and Morphology at the College of Arabic Language, to the position of associate professor.
