In an initiative to promote communication despite the present circumstances and to carry out the measures of ‘Returning with Caution’, Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, organized the New Students Forum via the WebEx platform. The forum was held on 23 and 24 Dhul-Qi`dah, 1441 A.H., to receive inquires from graduates of secondary schools who wish to join the bachelor’s program and the community college diplomas in the coming academic year 1442 A.H.

His Excellency the Vice Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Khalid Al-Thaqafi, in his answer to the inquires set by the students, summed up the most important systems followed in counting the measured proportion and admission in the streams and majors available at the college. He affirmed the keenness of the university and the college to carry out the precautionary plans while performing tests and personal interviews.

Dr. Khalid Al-Thaqafi pointed out that the stages of admission at the university are subject to electronic measures, starting from the submission of the application and the registration of majors and continuing till the affirmation of nomination and possible offers of places. He added that the Joint First Year tests and placement test will be determined later.
