Under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, the Department of English Language at Al-Leith organized a lecture entitled, "Language and Linguistics Abroad: Guidelines for Studying Language and Linguistics in American and British Universities". The lecture was held for the teaching assistants and lecturers of the college as well as the graduate students, on Monday, 7 Rajab, 1441 A.H., from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the college theater.
Mr. Khaled Hudairi, a lecturer at the Department of English Language, explained and analyzed the distinctive characteristics of postgraduate studies in Britain and the United States of America. In addition, he stressed the important similarities and differences between them in terms of admission conditions, methods of application, and the duration of study of the master’s and PhD programs. At the end of the lecture, His Excellency gave the attendees an opportunity to pose their questions.
