Within the framework of the activities carried out by His Excellency Prof. Iqbal Ahmad, a visiting professor at the Department of Biology, College of Applied Sciences, Prof. Iqbal held a workshop entitled:

"How to Search Gap in the Scientific Literature"

The workshop emphasized the importance of understanding the basics of scientific research, how to formulate and test hypotheses, and how to publish research in internationally ranked scientific journals. As the workshop content represents a basis for graduate students and researchers, this meeting was attended by a large number of male and female graduate students at Umm Al-Qura University and researchers interested in building distinguished research projects.

His Excellency Dr. Iqbal also visited the Central Laboratory of the College of Applied Sciences. During the visit, he was accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Buqami and a number of male and female technicians of the central laboratory.
