Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, attended the Nineteenth Scientific Forum of the Saudi Historical Society, which was held in cooperation with the Makkah branch of the Saudi Historical Society on Wednesday, 27 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., under the title, ‘The History and Civilization of Makkah Throughout Time'. The forum was held at King Abdul-Aziz Historical Hall at Umm Al-Qura University campus in Al-Abdiyyah, under the auspices of His Excellency UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Hind bint Abdul-Rahman Al Saud, as well as several dignitaries and vice presidents.
The scientific sessions began on the first day, presenting 18 scientific papers in three sessions. The second day witnessed the discussion of 21 research projects in three scientific sessions, in addition to the accompanying events which included an exhibition of historical photographs and others on 'The Glorification of the Sacred City', Makkan fashions, fine arts, classic cars, and also a group of Makkan manuscripts.
