The supervisor of the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Babalghith, conducted an inspection visit to the halls of the first semester exams for the academic year 1440-1441 A.H. which are taken by the students of the Joint First Year for scientific and administrative streams. This visit was conducted on Thursday, 29 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at King Saud Hall in Al-Abdiyyah. He was accompanied by the Dean of the Joint First Year, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, and His Excellency the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Waheeb ibn Dakhilullah Al-Harbi.
After the tour, the supervisor of the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Babalghith, stressed the necessity of providing all measures that decrease exam tension, and of promoting all that makes the exams an interesting educational experience, without leaving any negative effects on students, in a way that is in line with the regulations and bylaws of Umm Al-Qura University.
On his part, the Dean of the Joint First Year, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, indicated that all the students of the Joint First Year Deanship conduct their exams at the same time in Al-Abdiyyah, Al-Shishah, and the branches of the Joint First Year in Al-Lieth, Al-Qunfudhah, and Jamoum (male and female sections). He added that the numbers of students of the deanship who took the Learning Skills Course exams at the male and female sections were 1030 male students in Al-Abdiyyah, 608 female students in Al-Shishah, and 521 male and female students at the deanship branches in Al-Leith, Al-Qunfudah, and Jamoum.
His Excellency Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi praised the support the deanship receives from His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and the continuous follow-up of His Excellency the Supervisor of the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Babalghith. This support and follow-up are of paramount importance in enabling the deanship to carry out its duties and achieve its educational role at this lofty edifice: Umm Al-Qura University.
