On Thursday, 22 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., the Initiative of "Makkah: Source of Inner Purity and Outer Security" was launched within the activities of "My University Is Part of the Holy Land" at the College of Applied Medial Sciences, in collaboration with the Hajir program in the Sacred Land Glorification project and the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Student Activities and Training (female section). The event was attended by Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Ramia Sindi, and a number of members of Hajir Society, under the supervision of Dr. Walaa Al-Hassani and Dr. Rima Al-Yamani from the Department of Clinical Nutrition as well as the collaboration of the Department of Physiotherapy.

The initiative aims to achieve nutritional protection for the safety of the pilgrims and performers of Umrah from illnesses and infections, and help them to perform Hajj rituals in tranquility and security by providing educational videos and awareness-raising efforts to the pilgrims.
