Out of the belief of Al-Leith University College in the importance of qualifying youth to achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 in the professional and technical field, and in appreciation for its graduates, the College offered a presentation about the short training programs in the Secondary Industrial Institute aimed at opening greater prospects for graduates, in line with the needs of the labor market. The presentation was held under the auspices of the Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, in the presence of the college vice deans, the heads of the departments, and a number of academic staff, and in cooperation with the Technical College in Al-Leith.
At the beginning of the meeting, the College Vice Dean for Educational Affairs extended his thanks and appreciation to the graduate students and members of the academic staff for attending, and then explained the national and development role undertaken by the Technical College of Al-Leith in the applied industrial and technical field.
This was followed by introductory sessions about the training programs offered by the Secondary Industrial Institute. Those in charge of this project reviewed the objectives and the features of this specialized training targeted to provide the trainee with the basic skills in each program. The programs also focus on the practical side to contribute to preparing the trainees for the labor market, in line with the requirements of the business sector for a well trained and qualified national workforce.
At the end of the meeting, the opportunity was given to the graduates to express their views and inquiries on how to enroll in the training, and how to make a relation between the skills and competences acquired during their university studies and the learning and training outcomes expected after joining these programs.
