His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, visited the female section at the UQU branch in Al-Zahir on Wednesday evening, where he visited the exhibition held in the outer courtyard of Al-Jawhara Hall. The visit took place in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, and the UQU affiliates of students and employees.
During the visit, His Excellency took a tour of the accompanying exhibition of the "My Protection" forum organized by the students of the Department of Art Education, which portrayed expressive images of violence in its various forms as drawings telling silent stories of the suffering of battered women. His Excellency visited the various pavilions participating in the forum.
Concluding the visit, His Excellency the UQU President thanked the organizers of the forum and the accompanying exhibition for their lauded efforts and achievements.
