Under the patronage of Her Excellency the Vice President of the University for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, the university hosted the Woman's Committee at the municipal council of the Holy City to hold an open meeting with the female affiliates of the university. This meeting was attended by Her Excellency Dr. Samirah bint Ahmad Al-Abdali, the Acting Dean of the University Studies, on behalf of Her Excellency the Vice President of the University for Female Student Affairs.
The meeting was held on Monday, 21 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., at Al-Jawharah Hall (female section), in the presence of a number of female members of the university: deans, vice deans, administrative employees, and students.
It focused on informing the Makkan community about the role of the municipal council, its powers, and nomination and election conditions. The meeting ended with the distribution of friendship and suggestion forms.
