Based on the community partnership between the sectors of Al-Jamoum Governorate, Jamoum University College participated in the forum organized by the Ministry of Health, the Healthy Cities Committee, and the government departments of Al-Jumoum Governorate on Wednesday, 17 Safar 1441 A.H., in response to the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Pink Month).

The name of the campaign, "Don't Wait for Symptoms, Have a Checkup Now", was selected due to the fact that more than 55% of cancer cases in the Saudi Kingdom are detected in the later stages. The event was held at the Social Development Center in the Governorate, in the Exhibition Hall, in honor of the Governor of Al-Jamoum, Mr. Imran Al-Zahrani. The college participation came through the Department of Public Relations, the Media Center, and the Department of Media and Social Work, in the female section. An awareness corner presented a video entitled, "Cancer?", in addition to various publications. The college awareness corner impressed the attendees.
