In the framework of the existing cooperation between the Department of Islamic Architecture at the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture and Holy Makkah Municipality in the field of developing and planning slums in Makkah province, the Department of Islamic Architecture organized a work visit for summer training students to King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST).

The visit, organized at the summer of 2019 A.C., aimed at informing students about the latest technologies used in the topographic survey of slums using drones.
