College of Community and College of Islamic Economics and Finance Convene to Discuss Bridging Process and Setting up New Specializations

His Excellency Dr. Esam Bazar`ah, the Dean of Makkah Community College, held a meeting with the Dean of the College of Islamic Economics and Finance, Dr. Muhammad Samman, to discuss the mechanism of "bridging [articulation]" in the specialization of banks [monetary dealings]. The meeting tackled the opportunities of collaboration between the two colleges to open new diplomas suitable for the labor market.

The meeting also discussed the feasibility of establishing two diplomas of insurance and financing. The vice deans and the heads of the departments of the two colleges participated in the meeting, which was held at the College of Islamic Economics and Finance.

The prominent mutual issues between the two colleges that are of benefit to the students were tackled. The meeting also discussed the principal needs of the labor market, and resulted in forming "bridging" committees as well as another committee to study the possibility of establishing new diplomas.

His Excellency Dr. Esam Bazar`ah, the Dean of Makkah Community College, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Dean of the College of Islamic Economics and Finance, Dr. Muhammad Samman, for his constant fruitful and positive cooperation, indicating the importance of exchanging experience among the colleges in a way that serves cooperation and integration, which achieves the interest of the university and its students.
