The two sections of Al-Leith University College celebrated the 89th anniversary of the National Day. The celebration started in the male section with the Royal Salute, which was followed by recitation of verses of the Noble Qur'an and a welcome introduction. Next, His Excellency the Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, delivered a speech on this occasion in which he congratulated the wise leadership and expressed his feelings on the anniversary of the kingdom's unification at the hands of the Founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud (may Allah bestow His mercy on him). He lauded the country's renaissance in various fields. Afterwards, student Khalid Bawahab delivered a speech on behalf of the students. That was followed by a national operetta presented by a group of students, and the honoring of the outstanding students.
The celebration in the female section began with the royal anthem, after which Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi, Dean of the University College in Al-Leith, launched an exhibition representing some regions of the kingdom. Each corner of the exhibition included a mini model of the urban style of the region, the traditional crafts, the most popular food, and the heritage clothing of the region. The audience listened to an introduction about the history of each region and the development renaissance achieved under the wise leadership. The exhibition attracted a large number of female students.
Wrapping up the events, draws for valuable prizes were made in the male and female sections.
