UQU President Congratulates Alfaify & Al Maleki on Appointment in Shura Council

President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas has congratulated Dr. Hussein bin Daifullah Al Maliki and Dr. Suliman bin Ali Mohamed Alfaify for winning trust of King Salman who issued a decree naming them members of the Shura Council. 

The president wished them success and help from Allah to serve there homeland and society.

On Monday, Rabi' Al Awwal 6, 1438H, Dr. Assas received the two newly-appointed members in a meeting that was attended by Dean of the Higher Institute for Promotion of Virtues and Prevention of Vices Dr. Yasser Al Qahtani.

During the meeting, Dr. Alfaify extended thanks to King Salman on his royal decree, saying he prays to Allah to help him serving homeland.

He asked Allah to help Shura Council members to achieve success and meeting the aspirations of Saudi King, Vice Prince and Deputy Vice Prince, may Allah prosper them all.

 For his part, Dr. Al Maleki voiced thanks to UQU President. He pledged not to fail Dr. Assas after supporting to win trust of King Salaman who appointed him as member of the Shura Council.

He asserted such trust would be a motivation for more efforts in serving homeland. He prayed to Allah to protect the King, Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince.

Dr. Alfaify, before being named member of the Shura Council, chaired the department of Hisbah at the Higher Institute for Promotion of Virtues and Prevention of Vices, Umm Al-Qura University (UQU).

He holds a Ph.D. degree from the same university in jurisprudence. He has many published researches including Istifadah (a comparative jurisprudence study, 1436H) and Ihram from Jeddah for arrivals coming by sea or air (Critical Study).

 Dr. Al Maleki has been working as chairman of Chemistry Department in Umm Al-Qura University, Vice-dean for Educational Affairs before becoming the dean of Al-Qunfudah University Colleges. He holds a Ph.D. degree from Southampton University, in the United Kingdom.
