The College of Applied Sciences participated in the joy of the 89th national day under the auspices of the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Rajaa bint Tahir Ma`touq, by organizing a wonderful cerebration on Tuesday, 25 Muharram 1441 A.H., which included some events that were carried out wearing traditional Saudi outfits, in white and green colors, and raising the kingdom's flags throughout the university. The event was attended by the deputy heads of the scientific departments, the members of the academic staff, affiliates, and students.

The College Vice Dean then delivered a speech in which she affirmed that the anniversary of the National Day is a commemoration of the unification of the kingdom and its establishment by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud (may Allah be merciful to him), as well as the continued efforts of his righteous sons after him. She concluded by thanking Allah for the blessings of security and safety, and for the spirit of loyalty that is engraved in our souls. She added that gratefulness to this blessed country is a duty upon every person who was brought up in its land.

Afterwards, the College Vice Dean and the deputy heads of the departments toured the corners participating in the occasion. The ceremony was concluded with sincere prayers that Allah would forever bestow security, safety and stability on this dear homeland, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz (may Allah the Almighty protect them both).

The department of chemistry organized a mobile campaign, which toured the university and distributed some memorial gifts.
