His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, today, in his office at the University City in Al-Abdiyyah, honored Dr. Hisham Abdul-Rahman Maghrabi on the occasion of the end of his deanship at the College of Designs. The president appreciated Dr. Hisham's sincere efforts during his tenure as Dean of the College of Designs.

His Excellency Prof. Abdullah also praised Dr. Hisham's hard work, and wished him further success in his future career. In this context, he expressed his appreciation of the distinguished role Dr. Hisham played and the achievements he made in the service of the educational process at Umm Al-Qura and for the benefit of his country and society.

On his part, Dr. Hisham Maghrabi expressed his thanks and great appreciation to His Excellency the UQU President for this honor and generous gesture that demonstrated the kindness with which His Excellency treats all members of this blessed university. He then extended his thanks to all the staff of the College of Designs and to all the officials in this great University of Umm Al-Qura. He also asked Almighty Allah to guide us all to do what is beneficial and good.

It is noteworthy that the College of Designs has made many achievements during the previous period, most importantly: qualifying the college students to come up with innovative projects and designs that serve the community, participating in many exhibitions on interior design and decor in different cities throughout the kingdom, and highlighting the efforts of the college students. The college also worked to establish its special laboratory, as well as to simulate those designs on the ground.
