His Excellency Dr. Alawi Bamahdi, Dean of the College of Engineering, hosted His Excellency Dr. Omar bin Siraj Sunbul, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Abdullah Attas, the Vice Dean of Student Activities; Dr. Hasan Sinki, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Technical Affairs; and Dr. Muhammad Al-Mat-hami, Vice Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Qunfudhah Campus, during their tour in the university branch in Al-Qunfudhah on Wednesday, 12 Muharram, 1441 A.H.

During the visit, a meeting was held at 1:30 p.m. at the college meeting hall in which the Dean of the College of Engineering explained the future plans of the college for the academic year 1440/1441 A.H. He promoted strengthening the role of the student club, and expressed his desire that the engineering club be independent of the scientific club. He also stressed the importance of supporting the club's activities and events planned by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

His Excellency Dr. Alawi Bamahdi, Dean of the College of Engineering, gave a video presentation explaining the objectives of the college. He also explained the role of the club in supporting student activities, coordinating the visits of the students of the College of Engineering to the relevant facilities, arranging their local and international participation, organizing training courses to raise the student's cognitive skills, activating the student theater, and many of the other needs and objectives of the college to raise the student's scientific and social level.

At the end of the meeting, he asked Allah to grant everyone progress and success in both words and deeds for the interest of the college students and the nation.
