Thanks be to Allah the Almighty, on Tuesday, 11 Muharram, 1441 A.H., the New Student Forum was held in the two sections of the college. At the beginning of the forum, His Excellency the Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, delivered a welcome and guiding speech to the new students in which he congratulated them on the new beginning of their university life. He also advised them to fear Allah in private and in public, and to work hard and strive to achieve scientific excellence.
After that, the College Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Makhlad bin Uwaid bin Majoul Al-Saeedi, delivered a speech in which he explained the readiness of the vice deanship and the departments to receive the students and help them in their study tables and attendance in line with the university calendar issued by the Deanship of Admission and Registration at the beginning of each study semester. Next, the heads of the departments introduced the different fields of their colleges. Following this, the students were given the opportunity to ask questions and inquiries, which His Excellency the Dean and the heads of the departments answered very clearly. During the forum, the rights and duties of the students were presented via the barcode which had been prepared by the Deanship of Student Affairs.
At the same time, Her Excellency the Vice Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Iman bint Aqeel Al-Lihaibi, and the deputy heads of the departments met with the new female students at the main building's activities hall. Dr. Iman Al-Lihaibi opened the forum with a welcome and guiding speech to the new female students. After that, the deputy heads of the departments introduced the different fields of their colleges. The girls were then given the opportunity to raise their questions and inquiries, which were answered by the vice dean and the deputy heads of the departments. The meetings in the two sections (male and female) were full of friendliness, familiarity, and love.
At the conclusion of the forum, gifts were distributed to the new male and female students.
