Umm Al-Qura University Signs Two Agreements in the Areas of Consultancy and Professional Development at the Umrah Forum

His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Prof. Abdul-Fattah Mashat, witnessed the signing of two agreements, as the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies at Umm Al-Qura University signed one agreement with Flynas and another with Alwataniya Company for Umrah Services. This was on the sidelines of the Forum and Exhibition of Hajj and Umrah held at Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center.

His Excellency the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri, signed the two agreements with the CEO of Hajj and Umrah Sector at Flynas, Ziad Shata, and the Director of Alwataniya Company for Umrah Services, Mish`al Al-Subei`i, with the aim of providing consultancy studies and professional development services.

His Excellency Prof. Abdul-Fattah Mashat lauded the role played by Umm Al-Qura University through its participation in the service of the Hajj and Umrah system, introducing innovative research solutions in various fields that aim to promote the services provided to the guests of the Merciful. Prof. Mashat pointed out that the UQU has a data bank that provides specialized data and information on the previous years' Hajj and Umrah. He also underlined that the signing of these agreements was in line with the objectives that the Umrah forum seeks to achieve towards the development of the skills of the workers providing Hajj and Umrah services.

His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri explained that these two agreements are part of the efforts exerted by the UQU to serve and support the Hajj and Umrah system. He pointed out that the UQU participated in the Forum and Exhibition of Hajj and Umrah in more than 10 areas across various fields serving the Hajj system in the 1440 A.H. Hajj season, covering the fields of education, research, consultancy, volunteering, innovation, training, and media.

Moreover, Dr. Al-Sha`iri highlighted that the two agreements aim to harness the skills of the workers in these two bodies specialized in providing services to the guests of the Merciful through educational programs, professional development programs, and consultancy services. Finally, he expressed his appreciation for the support extended by His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, to the activities and programs of the Institute and the Umm Al-Qura Oasis for Consultations.
