In accordance with the cooperation memo between the College of Pharmacy and Allergan Pharmaceutical Company, the company conducted a training program for the students of the college to prepare them for the labor market by providing them with professional skills needed in all fields.
The Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Hospital Affairs at Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Abdullah bin Adnan Al-Haifani, attended the graduation ceremony of the summer training program of the 26 male and female students of the college. Upon his arrival at the graduation ceremony, he was received by the Director of Allergan Pharmaceutical Company, Dr. Faha Al-Utaibi.
In his speech, Dr. Al-Haifani extended his thanks and appreciation to the Director of Allergan Pharmaceutical Company, Dr. Al-Utaibi, the Training Manager, Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Qadir, the Human Resources Officer, Ms. Nora Janbi, and all the staff of the company for their great efforts in providing an outstanding summer training program. The aim of the program is to provide qualified graduates from the College of Pharmacy to fulfill the needs of the labor market, especially in the field of medical sales representatives, in line with the decision of the Minister of Health to Saudize this sector.
The director of Allergan Pharmaceutical Company presented an appreciation shield to the College of Pharmacy and the visiting delegation, including the academic staff at the UQU College of Pharmacy.
