The students of the Department of Chemistry in the College of Applied Sciences paid a visit to the Forensic Evidence Department in the Holy Capital on Wednesday, 19 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H. A group of outstanding students in the Department of Chemistry, in addition to a number of academic staff, participated in the visit to learn about the services and field work.

They were received by the Lieutenant Colonel Bandar Al-Hudhali, who, in turn, delivered a presentation to them about the units and their divisions. During the visit, a tour was made to the Forensic DNA Laboratory and the Criminal Chemistry Laboratory, which was accompanied with a detailed explanation of the mechanism of work.

This visit comes within the social activities of the Department of Chemistry, which aim to acquaint the students with the vital facilities and projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since the young students are the pillars of a brilliant promising future, Allah willing.
