The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken two administrative decisions.

The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:

1. Designating Dr. Abdurrahman bin Ghaleb Ibrahim al-Ahdal as Director of the Science and Technology Unit at the Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research for a tenure of one year as of Safar 9, 1438H; in addition to his original post as the Dean of Scientific Research, and Director of the Institute of Engineering and Architecture Research affiliated to the Deanship of Scientific Research; and
2. Designating Dr. Emad bin Abdurraziq bin Shafe'i Flimban as Assistant Head of Science and Technology Unit affiliated to the Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies for a tenure of one year as of Safar 10, 1438H; in addition to his original post as the Director of the Center of Research Excellence in Mass Gathering Management and Transportation, and Assistant Head of the GIS Technological Innovation Center for Technical Affairs.

The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
