The delegation of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment and the external reviewers team concluded their visit agenda to Umm Al-Qura University this evening by meeting all the university staff and displaying the summary of the visit at King Abdulaziz Historical Hall to all the attendants. His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, vice presidents, deans of colleges and deanships, and the academic staff attended the meeting.

The Head of Reviewers Committee, Prof. Martin Hinson, commended the status of Umm Al-Qura University at both the national and international levels. He congratulated the university staff of the quality of the developmental and expansionary plans of the university that are in harmony with Saudi Vision 2030. He expressed his admiration for the experiment of Wadi Makkah Technology Company in linking research outcomes to practical projects.

The Advisor of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, Prof. Muhammad Al-Madani, outlined the procedural plan that the center will follow with the external reviewers committee and Umm Al-Qura University with a view to submitting the committee's suggestions and recommendations to the university and following up their implementation in order to obtain institutional accreditation.

His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, thanked the team of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment for their follow up of the university plan until it obtains institutional accreditation. He asserted that the university will endeavor to pay great attention to all suggestion in order to keep on developing the administrative, research, and educational environment.

The Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani Ghazi, expressed his gratitude to his Excellency the President of the University for his support and continuous follow up of all the preparation and execution stages. He also expressed his thanks and admiration to all the university staff for showing their university in this appropriate manner during the visit of the team. He stressed the university's determination to achieve all the requirements for institutional accreditation.
