The UQU Da`wah Club concluded its activities for the academic year 1439-1440 A.H. at King Abdulaziz Support Hall in Al-Abdiyyah. The event was attended by His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz Suruji, the Vice President for Branches, Prof. Abdul-Majeed Al-Ghamdi, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Amr Al-Saqqaf, as well as the vice deans of the deanship.
The head of the club, Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Samadani, explained the role undertaken by the club through its activities and events, in line with the activities of the Deanship of Student Affairs and the scientific clubs. He appreciated the support of the Dean of Students Affairs and the vice dean, and their keenness in making the activities and efforts of the club a success.
On his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Amr Al-Saqqaf, said the Da`wah Club is one of the most outstanding clubs with regard to its activities and events, appreciating its activities which contributed to honing the skills of the students and developing their creative abilities. Finally, he praised the support and care given by His Excellency the UQU President, the University Vice President for Educational Affairs and the UQU Vice President for their presence and participation in this ceremony.
A video presentation showing the prominent achievements made by the club during the academic year 1439-1440 A.H. was played. Next, an operetta was performed, which the audience appreciated. After that, His Excellency the President of the University honored all those who had participated in the club's activities and events.
