On Monday 11 Rajab 1440 A.H., the Department of Social Services (female section) at Al-Leith University College held an initiative in the cultural entertainment field entitled "Celebrating World Social Work Day."
The event was organized by the female students in the medical field of the Department of Social Services to celebrate World Social Work Day. The aim was to introduce female students to the profession and the role of social workers. The social work logo for the year 1440 A.H. was unveiled and the history of celebrating the World Social Work Profession was tackled.
After that, the female students put their fingerprints on a banner including the roles of the social specialists. At the conclusion of the event, the female students launched three banners containing the social service logo for the year 1440 A.H., "Upgrading the social work profession."
The activity was held under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Rasha Majlad, Ms. Bashira Al-Malki, and Ms. Fatima Al-Malki.
