The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.

The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:

1. Designating Dr. Raed bin Khalaf bin Muhammad al-Oseimi as the Vice Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies for a tenure of two years as of Muharram 24, 1438H;
2. Renewing mandate of Dr. Yasser bin Muhammad Saleh Howsawi as the Director of the Islamic Studies Center, at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, for a tenure of two years as of Dhul-Qe'da 14, 1437H;
3. Appointing Dr. Khaled bin Eid Eleithah al-Juhni as the Head of Sharia Department at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies for a tenure of two years as of Muharram 24, 1438H; and
4. Designating Dr. Heba bent Saeed Ba-qader al-Amoudi as the Vice Dean of the Preparatory Year for Medical Path at Al-Abdiyah Campus (Girls Section), for a tenure of six months as of Muharram 24, 1438H.

The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
