On Monday, 25 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., coinciding with World Diabetes Day, the Department of Physics (Female Section) at Al-Leith University College organized an activity entitled "World Diabetes Day." The activity was carried out by the female students of the Department of Physics. The participation of female students in the department aimed at introducing diabetes, its types and symptoms, and treatment methods and prevention. This was done through displaying stereographs and illustrations, and distributing leaflets.
The activity was held under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Nihad Abdul-Qadir, and the curriculum lecturer, Dr. Shuruq Wasl Al-Radadi.
