On Sunday, 10 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1440 A.H., the Department of Chemistry at Al-Leith University College (Female Section) organized an event entitled "Tahadu Tahabbu [Give Gifts and you Will Love One Another.]"
The event was organized by first and fourth level female students of the Department of Chemistry, led by Muna Al-Maliki and Arwa Al-Nashiri, with aim of reviving the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as gifts are a form of love and a way to spread the word of Islam.
The event started with a recitation from the Noble Qur'an, followed by a word of thanks to all employees of the college from all categories (including workers). They were also honored with simple gifts to fill their hearts with joy. The event ended with a word of thanks from Her Excellency Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi to the female employees and all event participants.
The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Nihad Al-Sha`ir and Dr. Nouf Al Al-`Abbas.
