In the spirit of community partnership between Jamoum University College and the Police Administration of Jamoum Province, the latter held an awareness meeting at its cultural tent on Monday 22 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. that was attended by a number of students and college academic staff.
The meeting discussed a number of significant topics, including anti-cyber crime law. The meeting highlighted the practices aiming at limiting these crimes such as identifying them and reviewing their penalties in the penal code. The meeting also discussed the phenomenon of being ungrateful to parents and how this leads to undermining family structure. Highlighting certain types of kindness to parents according to the Prophet's approach and means that helps to honor parents in a way that maintains family cohesion were also discussed in the meeting.
