The Deanship of Scientific Research invites researchers interested in the subject of alternative sanctions to attend the preparatory meeting of the Alternative Sanctions Workshop. The meeting will take place, Allah willing, on Monday, 15 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m., in King Faisal Hall at Al-Abdiyyah Campus.

Moreover, a number of the parties concerned with applying alternative sanctions have been invited to the meeting, such as the Emirate of Makkah Region, the Social Development Council of the Makkah Region, the Police Department of Holy City of Makkah, the General Directorate of Prisons in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, General Directorate of Narcotics Control, and some charitable organizations.

The meeting aims at bringing the researchers into contact with relevant bodies working in the field in order to present and discuss the visions, experiences and obstacles facing the application of alternative sanctions and engage in brainstorming in order to prepare for the expanded workshop that will be held after one month.
