The Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, visited the University pavilion at Jeddah's Fourth International Book Fair on behalf of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail.

During his visit, he was accompanied by the former President of the Islamic University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Uqala, and the Dean of the Library Affairs, Muhammad Al-Luhaibi. Dr. Hani Ghazi viewed the books and research, in different academic specializations, that the pavilion displayed, as well as the scientific production offered by the University Research Chairs and the Postgraduate Studies.

His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Development and Entrepreneurship pointed out that the University's participation in Jeddah's International Book Fair is a way of displaying the intellectual and cognitive production of the University in all social, cultural, legal, medical, scientific and linguistic fields.

Dr. Hani Ghazi added that the University's participation in the Book Fair aims at informing visitors about the scientific research carried out by the University via the scientific journals through which Umm Al-Qura University seeks to introduce the research services and programs to all its staff and the local community.

On his part, the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Luhaibi, pointed out that the University, represented by the Deanship of Library Affairs, is keen to diversify its research participation through the production of books, distinguished scientific journals on scientific research, and different theoretical publications and books on art and literature. He praised the care, support and keenness of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University for the University to excel in its participation in different international forums and exhibitions.
