On the occasion of World Volunteers Day, students from Jamoum University College visited Al-Wedad Charity Foundation for the care of orphans in Makkah under the supervision of the Female Student Affairs Unit. Twenty students from various academic departments of the college participated. The visit took place on Wednesday 27 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
The delegation was received by the supervisors of the foundation, who made a presentation about the activities and services provided by the foundation. After that, the delegation toured the different departments and facilities of the foundation and offered gifts to the children.
The Director of the Foundation, Ms. Nisreen, expressed appreciation for this noble initiative by Jamoum University College.
In turn, the Supervisor of the Student Affairs Unit, Ms. Asia Farahati, extended her thanks to Ms. Nisreen for the welcome reception and stressed the keenness of the college to boost social responsibility and volunteer work in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
