The UQU Vice-President for Female Student Affairs Visits the Research Laboratories Building of the College of Applied Sciences

The University Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, met Dr. Raja' bint Tahir Ma`tuq, the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, during her visit to the Research Laboratories Building of the College of Applied Sciences at the University City in Al-Abdiyyah. The meeting was in the presence of the college vice-deans and the academic staff, who gave her a warm welcome. Dr. Raja' Ma`tuq, the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, presented Her Excellency with a commemorative shield on the occasion of her visit to the postgraduate laboratories. The visit took place on Sunday morning, 24 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.

During her inspection tour, Her Excellency looked at the postgraduate labs prepared for postgraduate students and faculty members to conduct all kinds of tests and research projects. The laboratories are equipped with the latest scientific equipment and techniques used for the purposes of research and investigation in all fields of scientific research. Her Excellency listened to a detailed explanation by the Dean of the College about all the capabilities and equipment provided to serve the students to train them to be practical cadres that will contribute to the service of the country and its scientific outputs.

Everyone then turned to the greenhouse prepared for agricultural operations in line with scientific procedures and with appropriate light and air conditions.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, UQU Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, thanked the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences. She also praised the support and guidance of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the University, to improve the educational environment. She then wished them all success.
