Students of the Electrical Engineering Department Visits the LDC at Makkah Electricity Department

For the sake of cooperation and exchanging experiences, the students of Electrical Power Engineering of the Electrical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture made a field visit to the Load Dispatch Center (LDC) at the Makkah Electricity Department, in the company of Prof. Omar ibn Abdul-Aziz Hafiz and Dr. Yasir bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Hazimi. The visit was on Thursday, 14 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 22 November 2018 A.C. The aim of the visit was to gain in-depth experience and understanding of the practical setting, and to be able to link the theoretical content to practical reality.
