The UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs Participates in the Activities of the Vice Deanship of University Studies

The Vice Deanship of University Studies in Rea Zhakhir hosted Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuly, UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs, at their student meeting. The meeting included activities from the 'Be Happy' initiative launched by His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University. The initiative aims to spread the spirit of optimism and hard work among UQU students. The meeting took place on Tuesday, 12 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1440 A.H., at the headquarters of university studies in Rea Zhakhir.

Her Excellency was well received by Dr. Salwa bint Muhammad Al-Muhammadi, the Vice Dean of University Studies in Rea Zhakhir, and a number of the college vice-deans, academic staff, and affiliates. Her Excellency toured the exhibition entitled 'Our Ethics is the Secret of our Culture', which focused on commitment to good Islamic ethics, and acting upon them on the university campus.

The student meeting started with a Qur'anic recitation. Following this, the University Vice President for Female Student Affairs delivered a speech on the importance of the 'Be Happy' initiative for students. It had a significant positive impact reflected in student participation in non-classroom activities and programs, which contribute to their happiness and inspire their future aspirations. She also expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the colleges in holding beneficial meetings, which gives students the opportunity to express their views and have their proposals heard in an atmosphere of optimism and happiness.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuly had made a visit to the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, where she was well received by Dr. Nurah bint Salih Faruqi, the Vice Dean of the Institute for Girls. Her Excellency reviewed the new plans and initiatives launched by the institute to keep up with the pace of development that the university seeks to achieve, according to Saudi Vision 2030.
