PhD student Louay Al-Orabi from the Department of Computer Science at the College of Computer and Information Systems has won the gold medal for postgraduate student research for his scientific paper entitled 'Summit: A Scalable System for Massive Trajectory Data Management', presented at the ACM SIGSPATIAL 2018 conference in Seattle, Washington.
The competition is sponsored by Microsoft Research and is held in leading scientific conferences.
