The Computer Science Department at Jamoum University College held the New Female Students Forum under the patronage of the Computer Club entitled, 'Innovation Makers'. This was under the auspices of the Computer Club Supervisor, Mrs Ibtisam Al-Harbi.

It was held on Wednesday, 21 Muharram, 1439 AH., in Building A, Hall 101, from 12 am to 2 pm.

The forum targeted female students who recently had been admitted or had transferred to the Computer Science Department.

The forum began by welcoming the students and talking about the vision, mission and goals of the Computer Science Department at Jamoum University College. The Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Arwa Al-Fatni, delivered a speech congratulating the students, giving academic advice, and informing female students about how to know their academic advisor. She also answered often asked questions, and talked about the academic accreditation that the Computer Science Department has acquired.

After that, female students proceeded to inform new students about the courses in the Department. Firstly, the female student Rola Al-Barakati talked about the computer sciences programs and the fields of work for the graduates of this Department. Secondly, the female student Bashair Al-Lahyani talked about developing internet applications. Then, the two female students Reem Al-Sulami and Salma Al-Sharif talked about two correlated subjects: System Analysis and Design, and Program Engineering. Afterwards, Rawan Kalntin talked about databases. Finally, they concluded with a talk on industrial intelligence by Sarah Al-Handiz. The club leader Sarah Al-Hindi talked about the Department's activities, including the Innovation Makers Club.

Students mentioned various sources that helped them in understanding the courses. Moreover, Shaima Al-Harbi offered advice to the new students. Taif Al-Wafi added her special touch by offering her nice contributions. In addition, the Computer Science Department offered its publications to the attendants.
