On Wednesday 24 October 2018, Dr. Munirah bint Hamdan Al-Osaimi, Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for Medical Services, visited the College of Nursing at Umm Al-Qura University. During the visit, many issues related to nursing were discussed, including the Midwifery Nursing Program, the need for it in the labor market, the Tajsir Nursing Program, and paid postgraduate programs in various nursing specialties. The subject of training the college students in the hospitals of the Ministry of Health was also discussed, as well as ways to look for new areas of cooperation in this area. 

At the end of the visit, Dr. Munirah Al-Osaimi looked at the college's facilities in the female section, including the modern classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest nursing dolls. 

Dr. Munirah Al-Osaimi expressed her happiness at visiting the college, and for seeing its fine potential and study halls. She wished success for all members of the faculty.
