In an initiative to strengthen ties and discuss ways of cooperation between corresponding departments, a delegation from the Department of Biology at Al-Jamoum University College performed a second round of visits on Wednesday, 8th Safar 1440H. The delegation was headed by Dr. Samir Hassan Qary, Prof. Kamal Atiyyah and Dr. Muhammad Ezzat. It was warmly received with appreciation by the Department of Biology at King Abdulaziz University (KAU). On top of the many welcoming affiliates of KAU Biology Department was Prof. Khalid Al-Ghamdy, in addition to a group of specialists in development, programs, academic accreditation, graduate studies and job classification.
During the visit, the two departments discussed aspects of common scientific, cultural and knowledge-based cooperation, based on the common developmental vision stemming from the achievement of the Saudi Vision 2030 at both departments. Moreover, the discussion included the requirements of quality, the need for cooperation in providing points of reference for the corresponding departments, cooperation at the level of graduate studies and scientific research, as well as training courses. The topics of discussion also comprised the development of joint study plans and the possibility of proposing other programs that met the requirements of the labor market within the framework of achieving the Saudi Vision 2030.
It is worth mentioning that such movement came in light of the support and care provided to the University College in Al-Jamoum by UQU President, the Dean (Dr. Tawfique Al-Sharif), and the work team.
