Within the series of scientific meetings organized by the Scientific Research Committee at the Department of Chemistry, the College of Applied Sciences, the first meeting entitled, “Excitonic Solar Cells” was held. The meeting was presented by Dr. Hussein Hassan Al-Isa, Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry, on Wednesday, 8th Safar 1440H, at 11:30 am. It was also held at the Department’s meeting room in Al-Abediyah (for boys), and at the meeting room of the Department’s Assistant Head in Al-Zaher (for girls).
The meeting witnessed the attendance of a number of Chemistry Department affiliates. In addition, and at the end of it, Dr. Hussein Al-Isa was honored by Dr. Ismael bin Ibrahim Al-Thaqafy, Head of the Chemistry Department.
In the same context, Dr. Al-Thaqafy extended thanks and appreciation to all attendees and to the Scientific Research Committee for organizing such useful scientific meetings that would establish research partnerships among members of different chemistry disciplines.
