The Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, Girls Section, held an introductory meeting for the female juniors and a ceremony for honoring the graduates, in the presence of Dr. Sara bint Omar Al-Kholi, UQU Vice-President Student Affairs; Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, dean of the University Studies; and Dr. Fareeda bint Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, vice-dean of the University Studies Deanship. The ceremony was held on Thursday, Muharram 24, 1440 AH, at Abu Al-Aal Hall, Girls Section, in Al-Zaher. They were received by Dr. Samia Al-Radadi, vice-dean of the Institute; Dr. Badria Al-Fahmi, vice-dean of the Institute for Educational Affairs, and a number of the female affiliates.
The ceremony kicked off with a welcoming speech that was delivered by Dr. Dalal Lal. Afterwards, Dr. Samia Al-Radadi gave a speech welcoming the female juniors and introducing the Institute’s systems, objectives and the most highlighted activities and programs that contribute to teaching Arabic Language to the non-native speakers by modern technologies.
Dr. Sara, then, delivered a speech in which she welcomed the female juniors and honored the graduates, wishing the learners useful learning, and success to the graduates. In her turn, Dr. Badria Al-Fahmy, gave a speech in this regard, followed by the graduates' march and the opening of Al-Jawhara Al-Muhari Program for the preparation of scholarship students with Dr. Amira Al-Saadi, and then the Memories Station for Female Graduates part began. Finally, “how do I study at the Language Institute?” part began.
The outstanding, role model, patient female students were honored at the end of the ceremony.
