In honor of Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholi, UQU Vice-President for Female Students Affairs, Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Girls Section, marked the National Day under the slogan of “The 88th National Day: for Glory and Loftiness”, by the participation of Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, dean of the University Studies, and the supervision of the Public Relations and Media Department. The celebration was on Wednesday, 16 Muharram 1440 AH, at 10:00 am.
The ceremony kicked off with the view of Dr. Sara bint Omar Al-Kholi, and the vice-deans, faculty members and university staff.
In the midst of the belongingness and national spirit, the names of the female winners of the Cultural Mobility Competition of the National Day events that was organized by the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, in cooperation with the Department of Public Relations and Media, they are: Dr. Huda Mohammed Babtain, Dr. Iman Aqeel Al-Lahibi, Dr. Wafaa Abdul Aziz Muhdar and Dr. Amina Ahmed El Gendy.
In a majestic crowd, Dr. Sarah Al-Kholi presented the march of Saudi National Day; which kicked off from the headquarters of UQU Vice-Presidency for Female Students Affairs, in Building D, with the participation of the Dean of University Studies, Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, accompanied by Dr. Farida bint Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, vice-dean of the University Studies; Dr. Kholoud Bint Saad Al-Yousuf, vice-dean of the University Studies Deanship for Development and Educational Affairs; Dr. Amal bint Omar Sandi, vice-dean of the Deanship of Students Affairs for Counseling, Guidance and Community Partnership; and all the vice-deans of deanships and UQU female affiliates and students. This march included all the university buildings, starting from the UQU Vice-Presidency for Female Students Affairs, the Department of Public Relations and Media, the Deanship of University Studies, the College of Da'wah and the Fundamentals of Religion, the Department of Quran and Sunnah, the Department of Literature and the Department of Classical Arabic Rhetoric of the College of Arabic Language, to the Deanship of Graduate Studies, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and the Deanship of Admission and Registration. These corners embodied the meanings of celebrating the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the words of a song celebrating the feelings of pride and glory in praise of the history of the Kingdom and its heritage throughout the ages and times.
During the national march, Dr. Sarah also witnessed the participation of the supporting deanships, departments and administrations in celebration of the National Day, from Building C, to the English Language Center, and the Higher Institute for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil. She, then, headed to Building (T), towards King Abdullah Central Library, where she saw the message and national periodic.
Her tour included the Educational Television Center, the Training Department of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, and then the College of Education in Building (J). After that, she went to the College of Art Education building, where the exhibits and marches that develop the national spirit and strengthen the historical values of the Kingdom to the emerging generations.
She also reviewed the participations of the Security Department, the Department of Documentation and Administrative Communication, the Deanship of Distance Education, as well as the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Department of Public Services, Warehouse Management, the Deanship of Scientific Research, and the Deanship of Development and Quality in Building B.
Dr. Al-Kholi thanked the participants in this event that marks the national anniversary of our country (the country of the Two Holy Mosques) under the wise leadership and loyal people, and praised what she saw in the march of Saudi National Day.
She also thanked Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafee, UQU President, for his support and efforts in serving the university entity and the country, wishing them all the best.
