The President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail discussed with the President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al Sudais means of cooperation in the training fields, graduate studies programs, development and counseling and guidance in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi, the Deans of the relevant Supportive Deanships, Director General of the UQU President's Office Mr. Abdul-Rahman Yamani and the Heads and Directors of the relevant departments in the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques. The Meeting took place at the meetings hall of his office at the university campus in Abdyia.  

At the commencement of the meeting, the UQU President welcomed the General President of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques and his accompanying delegation at Umm Al-Qura University and praised the support and attention paid to the university by the wise leadership in such a manner which contributed to localization of the highly-qualified national cadres and providing the educational and academic environment according to the highest specifications and standards. He noted that the university with all its sectors is honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques and cooperate with the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.  
 

For his part, the General President of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Dr. Abdulrahman Al Sudais extended his thanks to the university for its efforts exerted within the system of education in the Kingdom and lauded the current cooperation between the two sides in several fields. He referred to the importance of the conference and forums adopted by the university and giving attention to moderation and fighting extremism.  

 
After that, the two parties discussed ways of activating cooperation in a number of fields including; translation, library development, indexing, technology and smart applications, guidance and counseling, graduate studies, teaching,  besides activating the message of the Two Holy Mosques, taking advantage of the members of the teaching staff in advisory fields and forming a teamwork between the University and the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.
