UQU Strategic Team of Empowerment Plan 2023 "Tamkeen" met with the members of the General Secretariat of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting took place in the Chamber's headquarters in Makkah.  

In the commencement of the meeting, the acting Secretary General of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Ibrahim Bardeesi welcomed the plan's delegation hailing the university's role and expertise in all scientific and research fields and looking forward to achieving mutual benefit from the university's expertise and its participation with the Chamber in all the scientific events and occasions in addition to the projects, researches and workshops serving business sector.  

During the meeting, Tamkeen 2023 team made a presentation about the strategic aspirations the university looking to achieve in the coming five years stressing that Tamkeen 2023 plan comes in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. They added that the external meetings are intended to explore the aspirations and views of the parties compatible with the plan's aspirations to serve this country. The team members also listened to the aspirations of Makkah Chamber and the role expected from the university to achieve these future aspirations. 

At the conclusion of the meeting, Tamkeen team extended thanks and appreciation to the Council of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the General Secretariat for this meeting looking forward to having more similar meetings in the future.
