Deanship of Students Affairs represented by the scout clubs has launched the foundation study of the wood badge at the scouting camp of the scout clubs on Monday Shawal 25, 1439 H. The study will last from Shawal 25 to Dhul-Qe'dah 1, 1439 H under the general supervision of the Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Amro bin Taha Al-Saggaf and the direct supervision of the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Activities and Students Training Dr. Omar bin Siraj Sonbol and the Supervisor of the Club Mr. Abdul-Rahim Al-Ghamdi.
At the beginning of the event, the leader of the study Mr. Abdul-Rahman Modkhali received the trainees and opened the program by providing important information about the program plan for the trainees. The meeting was attended by Dr. Talal Mothana who lectured the audience scouting curricula.
The study includes several training programs to develop leaders thinking and qualifies him to advanced study and then obtaining the wood badge after completing the research in this regard. The number of the trainers and trainees amounted to 50 scouting leaders. The necessary accessories were presented to the trainees.
