H.E. UQU President: The Crown Prince.. A year of giving and national accomplishments

On his and the affiliates’ behalf, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar BaFail, the President of UQU, congratulated the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister, on the occasion of his first year as a crown prince, supporting his father King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

He highlighted that his excellency’s accomplishments during a year in office, and under the directives of King Salman, prevailed in all fields. He described the Crown Prince as the engineer of the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the planner of the future of the comprehensive economic renaissance and diversifying of the national income sources through the participation of the private sector to benefit from the non-oil natural resources and the geopolitical location of the Kingdom. The UQU President then mentioned the huge national projects launched by the Kingdom, which carried a clear fingerprint in their establishment, including Qiddiya, Red Sea, and Neom projects, in addition to the touristic and leisure projects of which benefit will spread all over the Kingdom.

The UQU President considered that the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, led by the Crown Prince, is the backbone of such core transformations and the paradigm shift in diversifying the sources of the national income.

He added that the visits of the Crown Prince included many countries, starting by Egypt plus his visit to USA that lasted for more than three weeks, in addition UK and France. He pointed to the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between Saudi Arabia and these countries, of which positive impacts will appear in the near future. The Crown Prince is also expected to visit Russia during the current week.

At the end of his speech, he prayed that god preserve safety, security, prosperity of the country under the leadership of the King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud,.
