The Vice-Deanship of the College of Daawa (Islamic Call) and Fundamentals of Religion for Educational Affairs and Development organized the concluding ceremony entitled, “Giving & Loyalty” on Wednesday, 16th Shaaban 1439H at the External Room of Al-Jawhara Hall. The event aimed to celebrate the conclusion of the College’s activities and honor its retirees and committee members. This was in the presence of Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khouly (UQU Vice-President for Female Student Affairs), Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudy (Dean of University Studies for Girls), Dr. Kholoud bint Saad Al-Yusuf (Vice-Dean of University Studies for Development and Educational Affairs), as well as a number of vice deans and staff members.
The event started with a welcome introduction followed by a breathtaking Qur’anic recitation. Then, Dr. Soad bint Saleh Ba-Baqui, Vice-Dean of the College of Daawa (Islamic Call) and Fundamentals of Religion for Educational Affairs and Development, gave a speech to welcome the attendees and appreciate the retirees’ efforts and distinctive giving journey.
In the same context, participations succeeded each other. First a chanting was performed along with a visual presentation on the College’s achievements and activities in 1439H. This was followed by honoring retirees and distinguished employees as an expression of appreciation and gratitude.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Soad Ba-Baqui honored Dr. Sarah Al-Khouly and Dr. Hala Al-Amoudy with souvenirs and memorial shields for their attendance. Finally, the College’s committee members were honored with souvenirs and appreciation certificates.
